Visit to Minnesota Scouting Museum - Bob Hannah

I had the opportunity to go to Minnesota for work and Thursday night I was so fortunate to know Bob Hannah, whom I had purchased an Explorer patch from and did a little home work and found out his love of Scouting, being a Professional Scouter for over 40 years, as well as an avid collector of Scouting items.  He has converted in basement into the most amazing Scouting Museum I have ever seen.  What a wonderful evening I spent with him as he shared so many great memories of Scouting as well where some of his items came from.  I'm thinking of moving to Minnesota just so I can hang out in the Museum and listen to Bob's stories.  Oh, I didn't tell you but when I saw so many rare items in one location, I actually started shaking and had goose bumps!  Bob says that happens to most patrons!  I was lucky enough to capture some pictures, as I don't suspect I'll really being able to move but what a great experience.  Thanks Bob for taking the ENTIRE evening to share some great Scouting knowledge that I'm going to put into action.  Bob has been to several world and national Jamborees as well as many trips to Philmont and Schiff.  He is a Scouter like no other.
Bob Hannah - Museum Curator!

Very rare Gold Award!

He loves Rockwell more than I do!

Lone Scout badges - He's got them ALL!!!!!!

Bob thinks this is the most beautiful Scouting picture there is.  Me too!

I have the same books as he does.  Amazing.

We're talking 'real' museum!

The Air Scout / Air Explorer display is unreal!!!!  His wife mounted the uniforms in the 2 displays.

He really loves Rockwell and has several larger format prints.

Beautiful sash, blanket and plow (see 'Scout' on handle!)

Lone Scout and a watch fob!!!!!
